Dear Church Family,
You are missed!! This pandemic has presented unique challenges in every area of life, and we are having to dig deep and get creative as we continue to grow together as a Church. We are continuing to do our best to serve you and stay connected during this time. The Lord is still at work, of course, and we know how important it is for His people to join together and affirm their faith in the God who does not change and who is never shaken and also have the safe space to voice misgivings, fears, and struggles.
We are currently in the process of adding more opportunities to connect and study scripture together over Zoom. At least one group will begin meeting on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. next week. If you are interested, please reply to this email so we can send you information for the link you will need to access the group.
If you are interested in a bible study or meeting with a fellowship group from home but are not available on Tuesday nights, please reply to this email and let us know what days and times are best for you. If we can gather a group of people who can meet then, we will try to get something going!
The men’s study group is meeting regularly on Wednesday evenings now over zoom. If you would like more information about that group, please let us know.
Both the men’s study group and the Tuesday evening study focus on the scripture readings for Sunday, and designate time to pray for one another. Noel Drindack coordinates the Wednesday men’s group; Rachel Norsworthy will coordinate the Tuesday evening group. Other study formats are also possible, so let us know what you might like to see, or if you’re interested in leading or co-leading a study!
We also have an active phone call connection ministry right now. If you would appreciate receiving a call from someone from our church on a regular basis, please let us know! As always, please do not hesitate to contact the church office or any clergy member with any pastoral concerns you may have.
We look forward to hearing from you!
With Grace and Peace,
Your Christ Church Family
