The Community of Hope classes provide training in lay pastoral caregiving through the teaching of Benedictine spirituality and teachings on listening skills, boundaries, grief counseling, and other compassionate practices. Even if you don’t plan to visit people in hospitals or homes, CoH will help you to learn how to be a better friend, co-worker, teacher, etc. The class will begin on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 and meet every Tuesday evening until June 2 (except for the week of Spring Break). The cost is $100, which includes materials. Partial scholarships are available.
